I do enjoy the so-easy-to-apply-retroactively-they're-useless meanings we can take from the SToSWB (e.g. would we not also be saying it's "fitting" that I had maximum love score, given my new-found freedom?), but what I truly love is the careless intermingling of terms from at least unrelated, if not truly conflicting, religions. Signing up for "Your Daily Bible Verse" gets you 10 "Karma Points;" I'm curious what the exchange rate is between biblical deadly sins and karma points at St. Peter's pearly gates. Something tells me the self-admittedly jealous Yahweh might not favorably exchange Vishnu-issued karma points for tickets to the big show (what everyone calls heaven, duh).
In a thought experiment: what happens to your karma score when "Your Daily Bible Verse" is from 20 Exodus1 - "Thou shalt have no other gods before me,"? Does your overall SToSWB score plummet, given the whole "eternal damnation" consideration? Or do your individual numbers (love, wealth, body) remain intact, but the Big Guy holds you in contempt? Oh wait. There's no logic to any of this. Bring on the horoscopes!
1 - The most widely accepted instance of the "Ten Commandments," but not the only instance - see 34 Exodus, for example. While these are widely considered the Ritual Commandments, not the Ethical Commandments, I find it interesting that the word "commandment" is not used until this latter instance. Biblical Literature lesson of the day! Clearly I've been watching too many Sam Harris youtubes.
